Spring Hill Holistic Wellness Center is offering a meditation class for beginners. The class will begin on Tuesday, March 26 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and continue each Tuesday thru April 30.

Why Meditation?

Through the accessible process of mindful meditation, you can learn to improve your focus while reducing stress, discomfort, and addressing other health concerns.

What can I expect from the class?

Meditation is both a practice and a state of being. Each of us has a center of calm spaciousness within. This inner space has a resonance we are rarely taught to experience, but sometimes do, spontaneously. For example when we are absorbed in something pleasing like a sunset, or something creative such as singing or painting. In those moments we can lose our sense of self yet feel completely at peace. This is an aspect of the meditation experience.

The actions we take become the practice which leads to the meditative state. This course takes a relaxed, embracing approach to teaching the actions, while making sure comfort is the key. We will use chairs, pillows, and blankets to help the body both rest and stay gently aligned.

Meet your instructor —

The class will be led by Randi Redmon. Randi has had her own meditation practice for years, and teaches others in a retreat setting, as well as in her work as a licensed psychotherapist.

Class will be held at Spring Hill Holistic Wellness Center, 10417 Spring Hill Drive. Please call 352-515-6121 to register. Cost to attend is $42.00. Seating is limited so call early to insure your spot!
